Program Description:
Take your place in practicing interdisciplinary transformative approaches to community, cultural, and ecological challenges.
Put depth psychology into dynamic dialogue with ecopsychology, critical community psychology, indigenous, and liberation psychologies from diverse cultural settings. Widen your repertoire of dialogue and arts-based approaches to group and community work, while gathering the skills to conduct participatory action research and community and organizational program evaluation. Receive mentorship to create paths to peace and reconciliation, justice, and sustainability in the particular areas of your interest through community engagement, research, teaching, and scholarship.
This program is offered in a low-residency format, bringing the student to campus in Santa Barabara, California in limited visits. While on campus students have the opportunity to participate in a traditional graduate setting, with lectures, presentations and one on one interaction with the faculty and other cohort members.
