Program Description:
The major in Information Systems is predicated on the belief that information is an essential decision-making resource for all organizations. The Information Systems major is designed to develop the student's ability to understand and develop computer-based information systems that provide accurate, timely, consistent and integrated data for effective management. It also is intended to allow students at various stages in their careers to enter or continue careers in telecommunications, database administration, Internet technologies, and systems analysis and design.
