Program Description:

This program prepares students for positions in early childhood education and child development that do not require state teacher certification. Certification is available for students who take specific additional courses. The concentration provides an in-depth study of development of children from birth through age eight, theories of learning and development, and methods for supporting and enhancing development. This program is offered strictly through the Summer Institute program.
