Program Description:

Prepares students for the specialized ministry of marriage and family counseling within the church, parachurch agency, or professional setting. Assists in developing a philosophy of counseling which integrates the latest theories, trends, and techniques of marriage and family therapy with sound biblical principles. The program promotes an awareness of the interface between the behavioral sciences and the ministry of the Holy Spirit as they relate to the counseling process. The program does prepare individuals to sit for the LMFT exam.
