Program Description:
The program prepares registered, certified, and/or licensed health professionals for expanded roles in research and advanced professional practice. With the help of an adviser, students structure a program of studies to meet their specific needs and objectives. Each student selects one of five areas of emphasis for the degree. The primary areas of emphasis are advanced professional practice, education, management, gerontology, and health informatics. Under the advanced professional practice area, clinical specializations have been developed in clinical nutrition, physical therapy, and occupational therapy.
