The Department of Mechanical Engineering provides diverse opportunities for graduate studies in fundamental and applied research in all areas of mechanical engineering. The mechanical engineering graduate program offers M.S. and Ph.D. degrees and has been recognized for the quality of its academic and research programs. It also focus on multidisciplinary, collaborative research with the faculty in other departments of the College of Engineering, the College of Mathematical and Physical Sciences, and the College of Medicine.
