Program Description:

Do you already hold a bachelor's degree in a field other than education, but want to become a teacher? The Master of Arts in Teaching in Elementary Education with elementary endorsement is designed for career changers like you who want to teach in elementary or middle schools. OU's two-year program has an excellent reputation for preparing you to teach and enhancing your employability. Classes are held in the evening and on scheduled Saturdays, except for the final semester of student teaching. Courses are taken as a cohort group with coursework beginning in the fall semester.
