Program Description:
The Ph.D. in Education: Early Childhood Education program prepares you to be a leader in the field. The program promotes leadership and research that informs and supports education for young children. A unique program feature is that you can select an area of cognate study to meet your career goals, such as special education, reading, administration, curriculum and other academic areas. You will explore many timely topics in early childhood education, including: early development; multiple approaches to learning; emergent literacy; cultural diversity; and successful transitions from homes to preschools and from informal preschools to formal primary classrooms.
We also offer a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education, and an Early Childhood Education Teaching Endorsement.
