Program Description:

The Master's program at Nyack College offers a flexible cohort-based model tailored to meet the needs of both career-changers and experienced teachers. Our program streeses the importance of individual character and integrity by integrating faith-based practices into students' professional development. Our faculty is top-notch, pulling together a diverse group of educators who are both scholars in their field as well as seasoned practioners.

We offer inital certification pathways in Childhood Education (CE) and Childhood Special Education (CSE), which also puts students on the path to professional certification. For teachers who need to obtain their Master's degree, we offer a Master's in Inclusive Education Curriculim (extensions in Middle School, Bilingual, and Gifted Education) in addition to CE and CSE.

The program is a blended format. The majority of courses are to be completed in the classroom in addition to a select number of online courses.
