Program Description:

Norwich University developed the Master of Public Administration (MPA) program to provide graduates with the tools needed to excel in leadership positions in public, private, and nonprofit organizations. This professional degree is specifically designed to equip current and future public service professionals with the skills and techniques required to resolve important societal problems. The core curriculum reflects the conceptual understanding expected at the masters level of education, and grounds students in the conceptual and theoretical background necessary for work at the senior and policy formation levels of a variety of public agencies. It is both academically comprehensive and sufficiently flexible to provide students opportunities to pursue special interests and skills.
