Program Description:

The Norwich University Master of Science in Business Continuity Management Program was designed to develop leaders in the business continuity field. The curriculum was built on the understanding that business continuity is not only about planning for disaster; it requires the incorporation of risk management into all levels of an organization and the creation of a structure of resiliency that allows the organization to survive and thrive through any event. Through the creation and development of individual consultancy project, students will learn about the policies, procedures and structure of an organization-wide business continuity program, gaining expertise in both theory and practice. Customize your degree with a concentration in Private Sector Continuity or Continuity of Governmental Operations.

In the private sector continuity track, focus is placed on business continuity foundations and principles of Incident Management and Emergency Response. In the Continuity of Governmental Operations Concentration you will learn how to implement a Continuity of Operations Program (COOP) at a governmental agency to ensure its continued functioning during a disaster.
