Program Description:
An interdisciplinary program sponsored by a consortium of Medical School departments, the program is administered by the Northwestern University Office of Clinical Research and Training. The program complements the Master's in Public Health (M.P.H.) program, providing rigorous education in quantitative and ethically sound methods for the design, implementation, analysis and publication of clinical research studies. In additionto clinical science courses in molecular medicine and modern laboratory techniques, students take M.P.H. courses in epidemiology, biostatistics, ethics and medical writing. Elective courses include courses in clinical trials, drug development, and chronic disease epidemiology.
