Program Description:
Medill's IMC program centers on a customer-centric, data-driven method of communicating with consumers, investors and employees. Areas of study include advertising and sales promotion, direct, database and e-commerce marketing, and public relations. Specialized courses are offered in data mining, global communications, brand equity, ecommerce, crisis communications, and investor relations, among others. Medill's full-time IMC program offers an 11 week summer residency at a corporation. Additionally, in class consulting projects allow students to solve real-world problems for corporations. Both part-time and full-time students have the opportunity to travel Europe or Asia as part of an elective course on Global Perspectives.
