Program Description:

Northwestern's 18 month program is accredited by the ABGC, and provides students with the competencies necessary to become a practicing genetic counselor. Students complete a balance of medical genetics and psychosocial coursework (including ethics, women's health studies and disability studies), clinical rotations beginning in the first year and a research project presented prior to graduation.
