Program Information
Degree Offered
Graduate Certificate
Format: Campus
Program Description:
The Graduate Certificate in Eighteenth-Century Studies provides a coherent, interdisciplinary, and visible program of study based on the unusual strength of Northwestern faculty in this field and sustained by the presence of the interdisciplinary journal, Eighteenth-Century Studies. Northwestern seeks to attract highly qualified students in this area and offers graduate students already admitted in a home department the opportunity to do provocative work across departmental and disciplinary lines. The Certificate allows students a great leeway in designing their course of study.
