Program Description:

The Master of Science in Chemistry degree is designated to increase professional competence in one of the fields of chemistry including (a) environmental, inorganic, organic, and physical chemistry, or (b) biochemistry. The specific area of emphasis will be established in consultation with the graduate adviser and graduate committee, and an appropriate program of courses will be planned. For biochemistry, some cognate courses in biology will usually be part of the course plan.
