Program Description:

This program emphasizes both theoretical and applied aspects of cognition. Course work and research opportunities focus on two primary areas: reading and discourse processing, and human learning and memory. In addition to course work and research within cognitive psychology, programs can involve joint study in the other areas in the department. There is also an emphasis on developing cognitive modeling computer programming and skills.
