Program Description:
This program was developed for career-changers holding a degree in a science, mathematics, or a related field who would like to teach. This program fulfills Arizona's requirements for course preparation leading to teacher certification. A Master degree option is available through the completion of additional hours and appropriate application procedures. C-MOST is a high-quality, effective preparation program that is delivered either in-person on the Flagstaff campus or through online coursework. Face-to-face or web-confrenced meetings and field-based practicum experiences are also part of the program. Courses are designed and taught by NAU faculty and our state-wide resources and online services are available for students to access from their own home and community. The program can be completed in as little as 3 semesters.

Program is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education. NAU is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA).
