Program Description:
Northeastern's direct entry nursing program allows you to use the degree and experience that you already have in nearly any field and leverage it into a master's degree in a satisfying, high-demand profession. Nursing-specific classes (including practica) position you to sit for the national certification exam (NCLEX), after which you become a registered nurse and practice in the field full-time for six to nine months. You continue in the graduate program in nursing in a specialty of your choosing which leads you to national credentialing at the graduate level (ANCC).
Additionally, Northeastern offers graduate programs in Nursing Administration, Acute Care Nurse Practice, Neonatal Nurse Practice, Nurse Anesthesia, Primary Care Nursing, Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing and a combined MS/MBA program, a PhD in Nursing program and a Nurse Anesthesia program through the US Army. See website for more details and admissions information.
