Program Description:
At Northeastern, students acquire the knowledge and capability needed for a lifetime of social contribution and professional achievement.
The Exercise Science Program reflects Northeastern's tradition of practice-oriented education. Students interact with faculty contributing to research advances, as well as with Boston's world-class health-care and public health institutions. Students learn in a comprehensive health-sciences college where teamwork and interdisciplinary approaches to complex issues reflect professional standards. Students in the Clinical Exercise Physiology have the option of completing internship rotations at area hospitals or completing a thesis. Students in the Physical Activity and Public Health concentration have the option of completing practicum experiences in public health agencies or completing a thesis.
