With the pace of biotech and pharmaceutical research and development on the rise, so has the call for clinical trials activity. As a result, there is an increased need for trained professionals who know how to design and manage clinical trials with optimal effectiveness in order to bring new products to market as quickly and economically as possible. At the same time, these people need to understand and protect the rights of human participants as well as the integrity of clinical data. Until now, there has been no advanced level training in this emerging field. This graduate certificate program focuses on designing and managing clinical trials. This four-course, graduate-level certificate is specifically designed for clinical trial specialists seeking to advance to leadership positions in their field and health care professionals, statisticians, computer scientists and research technicians interested in pursuing a career in this important field.
