Program Description:
The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering offers graduate programs leading to the degrees of Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Master of Science (without specification), and Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering. At the master's level, degree programs are offered in construction management, environmental engineering, geotechnical/geoenvironmental engineering, structural engineering, and transportation engineering, as well as interdisciplinary degree options. The Ph.D. level program is flexible and may be adapted to any subject area in civil and environmental engineering, including interdisciplinary options within the department or across departments or colleges.
The Master of Science degree requirements may be completed on a full- or part-time basis. The Ph.D. program must be completed in accordance with the residency requirements for the degree.
