Program Description:

Broad Flexible program in pure and applied mathematics. Students interested in applications of mathematics can participate in joint research endeavors with industrial enterprises and government agencies through the Industrial Applied Mathematics Program of the Center for Research in Scientific Computation, which is housed in the Mathematics Department. Graduate students benefit from a nationally recognized program of training in university-level teaching.
