Program Description:

The Master of International Studies is a professional degree program that prepares students for exciting careers in government service, international institutions, and non-governmental organizations.Students in the program develop a broad-based knowledge and competency in the core sub-fields of international studies, as well as an in-depth understanding of an individualized specialization of interest to them. Each student is able to design his or her own unique specialization with the assistance of faculty advisors. While the program is administered by the School of Public and International Affairs, it has a curriculum and faculty that spans numerous departments and several colleges across the University. This multidisciplinary approach strengthens the program and enhances student preparation for their individual fields of study.
