Program Description:

The Master of Materials Science and Engineering (MMSE) distance education program is designed for students with an undergraduate degree in an engineering discipline who wish to pursue a graduate degree in materials science and engineering. It is a 30 credit hour degree program that does not require a thesis, final oral exam or on-campus residency. GRE scores are recommended but not required. The strengths of the NC State program include nanostructured and thin film materials.
