Program Description:

This Certificate has been designed in consultation with the Museums Association, to enable professionals working in museums and art galleries to obtain a qualification that will enable them to gain the Associateship of the Museums Association (AMA).You take a taught module on issues and ideas (20 credits) and a work-based project (40 credits). You are required to attend the taught module in Newcastle but can complete the project at your 'home' museum or art gallery. Assessment is by one piece of written work (5,000 words) and the production of an extended report (8-10,000 words) based on your project.
