New York Law School is one of the oldest independent law schools in the United States. Located in the heart of NYC's TriBeCa neighborhood in Manhattan, our law students have access to the city's legal, government, and corporate headquarters all at their fingertips, as well as a rich and thriving cultural scene.

Through their clinical and skill-based curriculum, New York Law School is able to provide its students with many ways to take advantage of their numerous surrounding resources.

In 2009, the school completed a state-of-the-art academic building that nearly doubled the size of the campus, and it is equipped with some of the most innovative technology available in legal education. NYLS's unique Lawyering Skills Center offers experiential learning opportunities through clinical work, simulation courses, and externships.
