Program Description:
The Psychology department has a strong representation in both the fields of General Psychology and Clinical Psychology, offering an M.A. in General Psychology and a Ph.D. in either Clinical or General Psychology. Every attempt is made to encourage an interdisciplinary approach to psychological issues and promote cross-fertilization between the Clinical and General Psychology programs. Indeed, one of the distinctive features of New School University's Psychology department is the close working relationship between Clinical and General Psychology and the common intellectual interests of members of these two programs.
