Program Description:

The New School's MA in Media Studies is one of the few graduate programs in the country that allows you to integrate coursework in media theory, media production, and media management. Whether you're a producer or media manager, a filmmaker or media theorist, a web designer or a media writer/blogger, this master's degree will help you to put theory into practice, giving you the solid understanding and skills to responsibly navigate an increasingly mediated world. Students learn within an international community of more than 400 graduate students guided by a faculty of media professionals from all walks of academic, artistic, and commercial life. Successful completion of the Master of Arts in Media studies requires 39 credits to complete.
