M.A.- Historical Studies;, Ph.D.- joint with a social science discipline

Program Description:
The Committee on Historical Studies offers interdisciplinary graduate training in both history and one of The New School for Social Research fields of study (Anthropology, Economics, Political Science, and Sociology). The program complements the Graduate Faculty's established strengths: its critical approach to social and cultural theory and reality, and its systematic empirical analysis.
