Program Description:
The graduate program in communication studies provides students with a social science approach to the study of human interaction. The curriculum is designed to explore how oral communication takes place in a variety of contexts. Thus, students take courses in interpersonal communication, organizational communication, political communication, and cultural communication. In addition, students can take courses in topic areas such as small group communication, persuasion, social change, communication technology, and nonverbal communication which are relevant to all areas of communication.
