Teaching and Leadership
The Master of Education program is designed to develop teacher leadership as part of the ongoing goals to improve quality of instruction and student success in schools. In keeping with the New Hampshire State Certification Standards and Interstate New Teacher Assessment and Support Consortium (INTASC) Standards, the rigorous curriculum is data-driven, site-based, and linked to the classroom.

Locations
Courses are offered on campus in Henniker and in some school districts within New Hampshire. Courses are scheduled for late afternoon, evening, and/or weekend hours.
Timeframe
Courses are generally run on a semester basis. The Master of Education program is for most candidates that can be completed within a two-year period. Students may enroll throughout the year.

The NEC Master of Education is designed for current practitioners who are already certified teachers and individuals who wish to become certified or add a new certification.
