Program Description:
The Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.) is designed for baccalaureate prepared nurses. In keeping with the standards for graduate education for advanced practice nursing delineated by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing in The Essentials of Master's Education for Advanced Practice Nursing (1996), the purpose of the Master's of Science in Nursing program is to prepare students to make the transition to the role of Advanced Practice Nursing as a Case Manager for a specified population.
