Program Description:

The Department is active in both research and teaching. Currently research areas are grouped into five divisions: Solid Mechanics Group, Mechanical Design Group, Manufacturing Group, Thermal Fluid Group, and Aerospace and Control System Group. The Department pursues fundamental, applied and commercially sensitive research intended to advance the understanding of engineering, raise the competitiveness of Taiwan national engineering businesses and to train research engineers to the highest national and international standards.
