Program Description:

1. Continuously exploring the important theories and models in earth sciences.
2. Investigating the basic geology of Taiwan and discovering natural resources, such as water, fossil fuels and minerals. Understanding and dealing with natural hazards: earthquake, volcanism and landslide. Finding ways to mitigate the environmental problems we have created.
3. Participating the international large programs including global changes, ocean and continental drilling projects.
