Program Description:

The Graduate School of Biological Sciences is an integral part of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, administering a course of study toward the PhD degree in biomedical sciences. All the required courses and electives and the research faculty are located on the campus of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. With the growth in multidisciplinary efforts, overlap between old fields, development of whole new fields, and an enormous opportunity for applying fundamental knowledge to important biomedical problems, we seek to offer each student a wealth of options in developing the optimal program of pre-doctoral training for his/her individual goals.
