Program Description:

The Master of Arts in sociology allows options in three areas: general sociology, criminology and gerontology. All options require basic courses in theory and research methods. The criminology and gerontology options require a practicum in a professional setting. The department also participates in a cooperative Master of Social Work degree with the University of Kentucky with all courses offered on the Morehead campus.
