Program Description:

The counseling psychology program is designed for students interested in providing counseling and psychotherapy services to children and adults in all nonpublic school settings. This program is identical to the clinical psychology program except that other courses are taken in lieu of the clinical program's courses in psychometrics. The program is designed to lead to entry into the certification examination process by various StateBoards of Psychology which provide for certification for private practice in psychology at the master's level of preparation.
