Program Description:

The biology program is offered through the College of Science and Technology. An advisory committee of at least three faculty members, versed in the student's specific area of interest, guides the student through his or her graduate program. The program offers both a thesis and non-thesis option. Areas of study include general biology, zoology, cell biology and animal physiology, microbiology, botany and plant physiology and environmental biology. Morehead State University is affiliated with the Gulf Coast Research Laboratory, Ocean Springs, Mississippi, which provides opportunities for students to take courses and conduct research in marine sciences at this well-equipped laboratory located on the Gulf of Mexico.
