Program Description:

The Master of Arts in Theological Studies (MATS) program introduces students to the classical theological disciplines: biblical studies, history, and doctrine. Students can tailor the program to their academic and career interests through their choice of electives.
The MATS program provides a theological foundation for those serving in non-ordained, leadership roles in the church. The program can be designed to meet the theological requirements for lay ministry orders, such as the Lutheran Associates in Ministry (AIM) program.
