Program Description:
The Cisco Program prepares the student for the professional Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) exam. The Program includes 4 required half-semester 1-credit courses, that is Cisco I and Cisco II during the fall semester and Cisco III and Cisco IV during the spring semester. The courses include lecture sessions, the online Cisco curriculum with quizzes and tests, and laboratory experiences. An additional fee of $150/course is required with the cost of the off-campus CCNA exam supported by the Department.
Pre-requisites for the Program include a B.S. or B.A. from an accredited institution, and undergraduate transcript, and evidence of Pre-Calculus. A year of programming experience with C, C++, JAVA or FORTRAN90, or possibly Visual Basic, is required. Permission of the Department is also necessary. Admission is available for the fall semester only.
