Program Description:

This program prepares clinical specialists to work in preschool or early intervention settings for children with disabilities age birth to five. Students entering this program must hold New Jersey teaching certification in special education (Teacher of the Handicapped). New Jersey does not issue a certificate in early childhood special education, but employers require the Teacher of the Handicapped certification and applicants who have specialized early childhood special education training.
