The Master's Degree in Curriculum & Instruction has been completely redesigned to provide cutting edge professional development for educators from diverse professional backgrounds. We have created three new options within the C&I Master’s Degree to better meet the needs of both K-12 teachers and educational researchers. They include:
The Professional Educator Option
The Educational Researcher Option
The Technology Education Option
The Doctoral Degree in Curriculum and Instruction has been designed to prepare students to teach in teacher education programs across the country in college and university settings. Progress through the degree provides students with opportunities to develop their professional knowledge and skills in the areas of research, teaching, and service.
Accreditation:
The Department of Education at MSU-Bozeman offers professional programs for the preparation of elementary and secondary teachers at the baccalaureate and master's level. The Teacher Education Program is accredited by the Teacher Education Accreditation Council (TEAC), as are the graduate level programs for the preparation of elementary and high school principals, and superintendents.
In addition, all education programs are approved by the Montana Board of Public Education to offer licensure to teachers and school leaders in Montana
