In our highly technical and automated world, there is a continual and growing demand for mechanical engineers. Mechanical engineering is one of the broadest engineering disciplines you can enter. Mechanical engineers work in a wide spectrum of industries - aerospace, automotive, bioengineering, communications, food processing, petroleum and product manufacturing. Missouri University of Science and Technology's master's degree program in mechanical engineering offers a comprehensive education with three emphasis areas: mechanics and system design, manufacturing, and materials and structures. This graduate degree program requires 30 credit hours to complete.
