The aims and objectives of the Art Department are: to maintain an environment of creativeness in which Christian ethics and ideals find free exercise as motivating factors in the art experience; to acclimate the student to the continuing discipline and learning process which are necessary factors in the professions of art and art education; to provide art experiences that are basic to the various applications and directions in the professions of art and art education; to provide guidance, instruction, and resources in an effort to bring out the highest potential of each student in his or her chosen area of concentration.
