Program Description:

Minot State University ' Master of Science Degree with a major in Elementary Education is designed to enhance the skills of practicing teachers. The program concentrates on 1) examining current trends in curriculum and instruction, 2) developing breadth and depth in knowledge and understanding of the teaching and learning process, 3) developing the skills necessary to conduct action research, and 4) enhancing the knowledge base in one content area of the participant's choosing.
