Program Description:
The M.S. in Nursing is designed to provide advanced nursing education that is accessible and flexible; respond to the increasingly complex health care needs of individuals, families, and high risk clients in rural and urban settings; contribute to the advancement of nursing practice and the discipline of nursing; and collaborate for expanded clinical practice and research partnerships between educational and service settings. The DNP program is offered collaboratively through a consortium of four Minnesota State Universities: MSU Moorhead, MSU Mankato, Metropolitan State and Winona State. The doctoral program is for nurses with a master's degree in nursing who wish to gain the advanced clinical, organizational, economic, and leadership competencies necessary in an increasingly complex healthcare environment.
