Program Description:

The Master of Professional Studies (MPS) is an interdisciplinary graduate degree program in the social sciences and the professions. The 33-hour MPS program is designed for working adults who wish to pursue graduate professional studies that combine two or more disciplines.

The Master of Professional Studies has two concentrations with additional sub-specializations. The concentrations are:

Strategic Leadership - This concentration prepares you to lead in today's rapidly changing professional environment. This graduate professional studies degree consists of 33 hours of interdisciplinary coursework in the areas of leadership, communication, strategic planning and assessment, organizational structure and research/data analysis.

Training and Development - This concentration consists of 33 hours of interdisciplinary coursework and is designed to prepare you to teach adults in the corporate training environment and is based on the American Society for Training and Development E-Learning Competencies.
