Program Description:
The Michigan State University master's program in criminal justice provides students with analytic skills, aninterdisciplinary knowledge base, and both classroom and practical understanding of the settings wherecorrectional, law enforcement, and security policies are implemented. The basic master's program is designedfor those wishing to strengthen leadership and management skills for career development in these areas.Combined science and criminal justice preparation in the rapidly developing area of physical evidence analysisis available for individuals who have a natural science foundation and who have an interest in forensic science.Two specializations are available, Forensic Science and Security Management. Concentrations are in AdultCorrections, Delinquency Preventions, and Police, or a general studies approach may be pursued.
