Program Description:

The Department of Physiology is administered jointly by the Colleges of Natural Science, HumanMedicine, Osteopathic Medicine and Veterinary Medicine. The Department offers work leading to thePh.D. and in some cases to the M.S. degree. The principal objectives of graduate education in Physiologyare to obtain a basic knowledge of physiology and to obtain extensive training in physiological research. Amajor emphasis of the research is for the student to complete original research that makes a significantcontribution to our understanding of physiological processes.
